Look-In was a weekly children's magazine centered on ITV's television programs in the United Kingdom. It ran 1088 issues from 9 January 1971 through 28 December 1991. Issue numbers restarted at number 1 with the first issue of each year and ran to number 52 with the last issue of each year. There were, however, occasional exceptions to this such as in 1981 where the issue numbered 1 was actually the 27 December 1980 issue and the final issue in 1981 on 26 December was numbered 53.
The Buck Rogers in the 25th Century series began airing in the UK in August 1980. The 27 September issue of Look-In featured Buck and Twiki on the cover, and it had a two-page behind-the-scenes article about the show and a one-page color poster of Gil Gerard as Buck.
From 18 October 1980 through 2 January 1982, each issue contained a two-page Buck Rogers comic based on the show. It also featured Buck and other characters on its covers several more times throughout this run and mentioned the comics on most of the rest.
